If you're getting a CNY break, make the most of your time with friends and family, though under the reunion rules applicable to your city or state. Let's take heart in knowing our loved ones are safe and healthy, even if they're across borders.

If travel isn't on the cards, take the time to be a tourist in your current city. Explore all the sights and eateries that you've only seen reviews of, or wind down with some quiet time listening to music or reading a book in green, open spaces.

Chinese New Year 2022 falls on Tuesday, February 1st, 2022, and celebrations culminate with the Lantern Festival on February 15th, 2022.

The Chinese New Year is a major celebration not just in China, but all over the world. The marking of the lunar new year brings fireworks, parades, bright lights, and the excitement and hope of a fresh start—something we can all look forward to lately. What’s more, the Chinese New Year also features the fun of the Chinese Zodiac, with signs including, in order, Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig.

Chinese New Year, also known as Lunar New Year or Spring Festival, is just around the corner. Chinese New Year or Lunar New Year 2022 will fall on Tuesday, February 1st, 2022, starting a year of the Tiger and celebrations culminate with the Lantern Festival on February 15th, 2022.

 

The date of Chinese New Year changes every year, but it always falls between January 21^st and February 20^th. The date is decided by the Chinese Lunar Calendar, which is based on cycles of the moon and sun and is generally 21–51 days behind the Gregorian (internationally-used) calendar.

In Mandarin, the most common way to wish your family and close friends a happy Chinese New Year is "Xīnnián hǎo" (新年好), literally meaning 'New Year Goodness' or 'Good New Year'. Another way to say "Happy Chinese New Year" is "Xīnnián kuàilè" (新年快乐), literally meaning 'New Year happiness'.

A niche market is a focused set of people or businesses who are in the market to purchase a product or service you sell. This group of individuals has a specific set of needs that can be met by a targeted product or service that addresses those needs.

Niche marketing is a byproduct of specialization. When a company offers a specific set of products and services rather than selling a wide variety of offerings, they benefit by saving money, becoming more productive, and providing a comparative advantage that can be marketed to a niche set of customers.

Companies benefit from putting a stake in the ground and one way to see that benefit in action is through sales and marketing. Selling to a niche market is a way to stand out from competitors, and it helps your brand establish positive recognition within the market. Your business can become an authority in your industry for that niche audience — ultimately attracting more customers to your product or service.

Benefits of a Niche Market

Whether you’re starting a new business or scaling an existing one, niche marketing is an effective way to establish your brand’s positioning. By focusing on a small audience, your business will be able to stretch its resources further and bring in customers who are closely aligned with your offerings. I definitely agree it is wiser to begin writing within a specific niche. Once you become established and get a feel for your style and writing, then explore expanding your niche.
