Welcome to my Blog! Love Care & Share

Hi
I'm Bobby Wan. I've heard so much about blogs lately that I thought it would be good to try out one. Hope you will too.

Blogs are Web pages which are updated frequently, written from the point of view of an individual and usually in an informal tone.

Why into blog?

There are some 9 million blogs out there, with 40,000 new ones popping up each day.
Hence you cannot afford to close your eyes to them, because they're simply the most explosive outbreak in the information world since the Internet itself. It has become a necessary business tool.

this might help u in future job interviews

I guess this might help u in future job interviews
....Hm..............

There were four guys who were in the final stage of interviewing for a prestigious job. They were from Harvard, Yale, MIT and NUS . The company decided to invite all of them to dinner and a final interview.

Over dinner at a fine restaraurant, the president of the company told the men that they were all very worthy applicants and that he wished to hire all of them, but the company had only enough budget to hire one person.
He told them that he would call them in one at a time for a final interview the next day, and that he would ask each of them the same question.
Whoever answered the question the best would be hired.

All applicants agreed that this was fair.
The next day, the first applicant called in was the one from Harvard.
The president posed the question, "What is the fastest thing in the world?"

The young man thought for a moment and replied, "That would have to be a thought."
"Why do you say that?" asked the president.
"Well, a thought takes no time at all. It is in your mind in an instant, then gone again," said the young man. "Ahh, very good. Thank you," replied the president.

Next, the same question was posed to the young man from Yale, "What is the fastest thing in the world?"
The young man paused and replied, "That would have to be a blink."
"Why?" asked the president. "Because you don't even think about a blink, it's a reflex. You do it in an instant."

The president thanked him, then called in the next person. He asked the young man from MIT the same question, "What is the fastest thing in the world?"
After hesitating for a brief moment, the young man replied, "I would have to say electricity."
"Why?"
"Because a man can flip a switch, and immediately, three miles away, a light will go on."
"I see, very good," replied the president.

Finally, the young man from NUS was called in. He, too, was asked,
"What is the fastest thing in the world?"
"That's easy," he replied. "That would have to be diarrhea!" Rather stunned, the President asked, "Why do you say that?" "Well, last night after dinner, I was lying in my bed and got the worst stomach cramps. And before I could THINK, BLINK, or TURN ON THE LIGHTS,
it all came out." He got the job. hehe....:)

Treasure Every Beautiful Thing In Our Life

Treasure Every Beautiful Thing In Our Life

A little boy came up to his mother in the kitchen one evening while she was
preparing dinner. He handed her a piece of paper he had been writing on.
After drying her hands on the towel, she read it, and this is what it said:

For washing the car...............................................$5.00
For making my own bed this week............................$1.00
Going to the provision shop.....................................$0.50
Playing with little sister .......................................$0.25
Taking out the rubbish...........................................$1.00
Getting a good report card......................................$5.00
And for sweeping the common corridor.....................$2.00
Total: ______________________________________ $14.75

She looked at him standing there expecting payment. A thousand memories flashed through her mind. So she picked up the pen and turning the paper over, this is what she wrote:

For 9 months I carried you, growing inside me...................……..No Charge
For the nights I sat up with you, doctored and prayed for you....No Charge
For the toys, food and clothes and wiping your nose.............…No Charge
When you add it all up, the full cost of my love ____________No Charge

Well, when he finished reading, he had great big tears in his eyes. He looked at her and said, "Mummy, I love you." Then he took the pen and in great big letters, he wrote ..."PAID IN FULL".

WHEN YOU ADD IT ALL UP, THE COST OF REAL LOVE IS NO CHARGE!

The Morale of the story:

Sometimes, we tend to take things for granted, expecting them to be there all the time, even to the extent of using it to our advantage. However, time does flies, things and environment change, reality is harsh and cruel.

When we realise that something that we lost and is irredeemable, only then we realise it is so precious and priceless. By the time, it might be already too late.

So do treasure every little beautiful thing in our life. Our parents, spouse, siblings, children, friends, etc. At least, they can still leave us with fond memories if we treasure them.

"We can do no great things; only small things with great love".

Which food causes most grief & suffering for years ?

A Doctor was addressing a large audience in a seminar on critical illnesses.
"The material we put into our stomachs is enough to have killed most of us sitting here, years ago. Red meat is awful. Soft drinks corrode your stomach lining. Chinese food is loaded with MSG.
High fat diets can be disastrous, and none of us realizes the long-term harm caused by the germs in our drinking water.
But there is one thing that is the most dangerous of all and we all have, or will, eat it.
Can anyone here tell me what food it is that causes the most grief and suffering for years after eating it?"
After several seconds of quiet, a 75-year-old man in the front row raised his hand and said . . .
"Wedding Cake".
There are 3 rings in a man's life. Engagement ring. Wedding ring. and Suffe-ring
